Over 35 years Zen has produced a stunning array of exotic
abstract, sensual figurative, mysterious landscape and other lyrical
works that reflect his distinctly fresh and passionate view of life on Earth.
Using classic methods

techniques with oils, acrylics, collage, metallic and opalescent lustres,
fabrics & found
objects, Zen invites us to
glimpse
the
flowing,
complex, multidimensional and often amusing universe he inhabits.
He
applies a mysterious and wonderful alchemy of original textures, colors,
symbols, ideas and effects that open a portal into lush worlds of dream-like
imagery, evocative forms and striking compositions.
Zen's works embellish both private and public spaces in the USA, Hawaii, Europe,
Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. He is represented by Alex Alexander in
Hawaii and Eden Nunnery in the continental USA.
His paintings hang in the Fashion
Institute of Technology (FIT) Museum in New York City, Cedar Sinai Hospital Collection
in
Los
Angeles
and
City Hall Buildings in San Francisco.
His distinctive paintings have appeared in over 30 exhibitions, in national
