Zen created 'Deep Breakfast' (pictured) while listening to the rough tracks of what was to become a classic New Age hit symphony produced his friend Ray Lynch in 1985.

Deeply inspired by the lyrical, mysterious and majestic sound-scapes brilliantly composed and performed by Ray, Zen let his brushes glide and twirl into otherworldly colors and imagery. At times he even closed his eyes while the painting magically appeared beneath his hands!

The sumptuous music played on and on...and many hours later, this masterpiece appeared.

Ray launched the album and along with it, his fabulously successful career. Deep Breakfast became the world’s first and most loved New Age Classic, paving the way for hundreds of aspiring musicians to scale the heights of creative expression and public acceptance (over 2 million albums sold) that Ray had enjoyed.

Now, almost 20 years later, it is a great honor for Zen Player to make this classic image available in a limited edition, museum-quality giclee (”je-clay”) print. The piece is full size on canvas (120cm x 88cm), each hand texture-varnished and signed by the artist.
