The luminous paintings of Zen Player express a range and depth of feelings, thoughts, ideas and concepts intended to relax the mind, stir the heart and stretch the imagination with power, elegance and a touch of humor.

To create these works, Zen immerses himself in a playful and mindless state, more "unfolding" the art than willfully making it come into physical form.

He applies both artistic skill and 'accidental method' to produce wonderfully spontaneous and dynamic artworks, never knowing exactly how each piece will turn out. Over 40 works spanning 15 years are featured. Click image to see the full-size painting and close-up detail.
