Commentary

"Zen's paintings have a magic, dreamlike quality, at once ambiguous and intervowen, dynamically poised as they are for eruption to perspective. The circular "lila" (or play) of relatedness is abundant, beautiful in its coloring, and poetic. And even though disinterestedness does not reveal itself obviously, it is there in the sparse perspectival ground in which matter, loosed from the earth, floats…"
