Zen
is skilled in a wide array of materials including paper,
plastic, wood, bamboo, ceramic, metal, canvas, cloth, leather,
cement, glass, fibre and other natural & synthetic
products. His
sculptural works range from 3D paintings, screens, illuminated
LightBodies, mobiles, obelisks and
small & monumental pieces, to interior / exterior
installations and water features of all kinds.
The images shown depict the making of a LightBody: the casting of
a
live
model
(Jaguar),
preparing the mold, the inital resin 'skin'
as
it
comes out of the mold, and the process of building up and finishing the LightBody
with multiple layers of crystalized paper.
An ambitious series of Celebrity Lightbodies are currently in
development,
with
a significant %
of proceeds donated to charity organizations for the prevention of physical & sexual
abuse of women and children.
